 Recently the Sutter County One Stop Business Services has had the pleasure of working with FERM Hydraulics, Inc. by providing recruitment/hiring services for two of their Mechanic positions here in the Yuba City area. The Sutter County One Stop was able to offer advertisement in the local newspaper, radios stations and two different web sites; furthermore, we were able to refer qualified applicants from our applicant pool and provide head-hunting services to recruit applicants from other resources/areas. FERM Hydraulics, Inc. is expert in the fabrication, assembly, repair, design, and replacement sales of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.  When Sierra Vista announced that their facility would be closed due to state budget cuts, the Sutter County One Stop team took action to ensure the employees affected by the closure would have access to resources to assist them as they transition into unfamiliar territory.
With the help of the Sierra Vista management staff, our One Stop services were introduced well in advance of the estimated date of closure. Sierra Vista employees were provided with information on WIA services, supportive service assistance, job search and training resources, as well as one on one staff assistance as they move through a very difficult process. Thank you Sierra Vista for allowing Sutter County One Stop the opportunity to introduce our services to your employees so they could make informed decisions about their future endeavors. |

| The Quality Inn & Suites |
 The Quality Inn & Suites is located at 4228 S. Hwy 99 in Yuba City. They have been at their current location over 5 years and are now under new management. The current General Manager is Paul Preciado. He contacted the Sutter County One Stop after being appointed the new GM and placed several job orders with them. He was familiar with similar programs at his previous location in Weed, Ca. but was blown away with the response he received. The Sutter County One Stop listed his job openings in their resource center (Job Central) and also posted them on their website: www.sutteronestop.com. He was flooded with applications and really appreciated how quickly he was able to fill his positions. When he needs to hire in the future, the Sutter County One Stop will be his first call. |

They accept donations 7 days a week and turn those donations into jobs. If you have something you would like to donate, stop by the back of their store at 704 Onstott Road in the Raley’s Shopping Center. |
