To Whom It May Concern: 
After being laid off from a good job a few years ago,
I would walk by an office and see all the successful people and think
to myself, "Why couldn't that be me?" But after enrolling in the ROP
program at the Career Training and Education Center, (CTEC) I would
no longer think, "Why couldn't that be me?" but "Why CAN'T that be
me?". There is no reason why, and CTEC would teach me the skills to
get there.
Thanks to Nola and Kathy in Adult Education, I have
earned my GED, which encouraged me to continue with bigger and better
things. Shirley, Donna, Betty and Linda helped me to obtain certificates
in Office Education and Business courses. There is no better feeling
than passing that Microsoft Office exam, and having that Microsoft
Office Specialist certificate with my name and the word 'Specialist'
on it.
With the help of all these people, as well as Bobbi
from WIA, Patti at Sutter County One Stop and all my new friends at
CTEC, I now have a great job as a Legal Assistant with a successful
local attorney. Thank you CTEC, you've made my LIFE come true. I owe
it all to you.
