Anyone can come in and use our systems to job search, create resumes, attend workshops, speak with employment professionals and much more! While Job Central is always staffed, it is meant to be a self-service resource. If you require assistance please call Job Central for an appointment with an Workforce Expert.

EDD staff located within Job Central

We have a Veteran’s Services Representative here daily to assist military veterans in obtaining necessary resources and information to meet their needs.  For more information, please call 530-822-5120 ext. 3030.

We also have an EDD Job Services Representative here throughout the week to assist with Cal Jobs’ resumes and related questions, job search and EDD based questions.  To find out more about the services our EDD Job Services Rep can do for you, call

Sorenson Video Relay Service (SVRS)   provides a new communication tool that allows the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing community to communicate effectively and naturally with the hearing world through American Sign Language (ASL). SVRS uses the Internet to provide an audio/video link to a qualified, certified Video Interpreter (VI) who interprets between the visual language of ASL and the auditory language of a hearing person. Prove it Testing

Prove It is a testing system that allows you to take a variety of tests that many employers require before employment. Test results are stored for future use if needed.

The Sutter County One Stop currently has three dedicated workstations for testing available on a first come, first serve basis.

Job Central phones are for job search use only.  For any other calls or for job-related calls outside of the local area, please contact Job Central Staff.

Personal Belongings:
Please keep your personal belongings with you at all times.  Job Central is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Please note that there should be no expectation of “privacy” while utilizing Job Central. The center reserves the right to monitor internet, fax, copier, telephone, and computer usage.
