Sutter County One Stop is dedicated to helping people develop skills and knowledge to pursue opportunities in many of today's promising career fields. If you are would like to gain new skills or improve your existing skills, many types of training programs are available to fit your needs through public schools, private schools and government-supported programs. In a short time, you can be on your way to a new career.
Don’t worry if you are unsure what career would be a good fit for your skills, interests, and abilities, we have assessments you can take to help narrow down your options. If you have a training in mind, but you do not know who offers the program, we can help you explore the resources available to you.
In fact, we even offer a variety of health career courses onsite. You can select the program that best suits your schedule and time frame. We offer classes during the day, evening, and part-time. Today's job market demands capable, business-savvy individuals who exhibit proficiency in a range of business applications and, above all, professionalism. Emphasis is placed on helping you begin to develop skills and knowledge in technical areas that can have practical value in the workplace.
Courses include Basic Patient Care (CNA), Medical Assistant, Vocational Nursing, Phlebotomy Technician I, Anatomy & Physiology, EKG Monitor Technician, IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal, and Medical Terminology.

Financial Assistance

If you need training to help secure a stable job with good wages, you can apply for assistance with training costs through the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) at the Sutter County One Stop. Please complete this form. One of our representatives will be in touch with you soon. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements. In addition to financial assistance, WIOA also assists with employment opportunities after the training is completed.
